Margaux Lovett

nullMargaux Lovett is an inspired yoga practitioner, yoga teacher, lecturer and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) who has worked in the health industry for more than eight years.

Margaux’s hatha yoga journey started years ago in London where she made the decision to give yoga a go to balance out the fast paced city life and stressful job. She is a lecturer at Moksha Yoga Academy where teaches her anatomy lecture with insight into how to apply knowledge of the structure of the human body to yoga’s physical practices of asana, pranayama, sivasana and meditation as well as the impact of injury and medical conditions on yoga practices.

Margaux teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Vinyasa Flow as well as chair/gentle hatha yoga. Her teaching style is a balance of eastern yogic philosophy and psychology with a western focus of anatomical body alignment knowledge to help students learn about and experience their own bodies as well as to raise their awareness of the mind-body-spirit connection.  With her OT background, Margaux is able to tailor classes to suit common occupational and lifestyle injuries and medical conditions.

She believes that everyone should be able to have access to the wisdom, knowledge and inner peace that is yoga.

Nicole Alexander

Nicole believes that yoga is for everyone and anybody can benefit from this beautiful art form.  Yoga evokes a sense of calmness, clarity, harmony, vitality plus inner strength to those who practice.

Her love of yoga started 10  years ago after the birth of her daughter.  As with the majority of people who explore yoga, she began with the intention of it being a 'keep fit program' plus giving her some needed time away from home!  Little did Nicole know where this journey would take her!  Years on, the passion for yoga has grown stronger, as has her body, mental capacity and ability to relate to others in a more warm and loving spirit.

Nicole has practiced many forms of yoga – Astanga, Iyengar, Hatha, Synergy and Shadow, with some of the most highly respected and regarded teachers in Australia.  She continues to participate as a student to further expand on her own knowledge as a yogi.   Nicole would describe her style of teaching as warm, fun and approachable. It is varied and she is open to exploring and questioning the physical, anatomical, and spiritual parts of our bodies.  Nicole has a keen interest in Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicines, and is currently studying a diploma in Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies.
