Women's Wellbeing Mediatation Workshop
An opportunity for women to take a step back from "busyness" and dedicate an afternoon to important aspects of life which often get waylaid by everything else.
Most of us are flat out getting through each week, occasionally aware that we are out of balance and stressed but seemingly unable to change this situation. We rarely take the time to objectively look at our lives, our priorities and the way in which we choose to meet these. Sometimes we can be like battery operated toys, we keep on "doing" the same thing but don't stop to question if it is an aim worth working towards.
This afternoon will provide an opportunity for mindful reflection of priorities, review of goals and development of strategies to manage personal and work/life balance. We will be drawing on the principles of meditation and cognitive behaviour therapy to explore these areas.

At Just Be we provide a range of options for you to learn the skills and techniques of meditation including:
4 and 6 week Beginner meditation courses
The beginner courses offers an introduction to the basic techniques of meditation giving students the tools to develop their own meaningful meditation practice. The information presented helps to demystify what happens when we meditate by setting out the skills we can use to develop and ultimately deepen our own practise. Exploring these different techniques allows the individual to adapt meditation to their needs.
The beginner course is also a good refresher course for those who have previous meditation experience or want a new perspective on their meditation practice.
In the course you will:
- Discuss the practical techniques of meditation
- Practice these techniques through guided meditation
- Explore mindfulness and how it can cultivate healthy feelings and mind states
- Learn spot meditations to de-stress quickly and calm yourself throughout the day
- Ask questions and explore meditation philosophy and ideas during class
Workshops
Just Be also offers a wide variety of workshops and special meditation courses throughout the year for you to explore specific areas and topics of meditation. All workshops and courses are aimed at those with little or no meditation experience and offer a chance to explore, practice and discuss the philosophies, skills and techniques of meditation.
