Winter Solstice Yin Yoga Workshop

The Winter Solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year. It is often a time of turning inwards, to contemplate and rejuvenate; a time to celebrate renewal, rebirth, and gratitude for the coming light.

As we find ourselves moving into winter many of us may be feeling the effects of the colder and darker weather, so we’re offering a beautiful nourishing Yin Yoga workshop just after the winter solstice to give you some time and space to find yourself in the dark.

Suitable for all levels this workshop will explore restful and restorative postures using props for support allowing you to completely let go and rejuvenate body and mind.

Sound Healing Meditation

$30 / $15 (for 12 to 18 year olds)

Unwind, de-stress, relax, let go. Soak in pure vibration of a Positive Music sound bath. Nourish mind, body and soul.
Positive Music sound bath includes meditation to relax body and mind, gently leading to the peaceful sounds of healing Tibetan singing bowls, quartz crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, kalimba and medicine drum.

Afterwards join us for a cuppa, cake and a chat to celebrate the launch of Peta Minter’s new album Sounds of Peace: Music for Meditation, Yoga & Tai Chi.

Partner Yoga is all about fun, sharing and connecting. Come along with someone you feel comfortable with; your significant other, a family member or close friend… whoever you like!!

Join us for this 2-hour workshop where we’ll explore a series of yoga postures done together in pairs allowing both partners to equally support and adjust each other into the postures.

Partner Yoga postures work mainly by adding resistance, your muscles can relax and stretch while your partner’s resistance helps your limbs stay in the posture.

This 2-hour workshop will also end with a partner massage, a nice skill you can take away with you. What are you waiting for, grab your buddy and come and give Partner Yoga a go!!
