Join us as we prepare a healthy meal and discuss how understanding a little about food can really change your life.

This is a hands-on workshop delivered in an intimate setting at Just Be Yoga & Meditation.

Together we will prepare a meal and enjoy it afterwards.

The Practice of Cooking is just as important as what we eat. With so many different ideas of what to eat and how to live we explore how these practices can impact on us individually. Begin to master the awareness of working with nature to create a meal that is both yummy and good for your body and mind.

Run By Sarah Vanis of Aligning Health
Sarah is a qualified Chef, Yoga Teacher and Ayureda Practioner. After years struggling with her own health issues she found the path to true health started with understanding yourself first and learning to listen to your own body intelligence. Today, Sarah shares this with you.

Rope Wall Yoga Workshop

Learn the real ropes of Yoga!

Deepen your practice and knowledge of yoga with the ropes wall. Noticed the ropes wall at the studio but never been quite sure what they’re for? It can be hard to incorporate the ropes into a regular class so we’re holding a workshop for 10 lucky students (only 10 rope sets) to have a play, a hang and a stretch on the ropes and find out what they’re all about, and you might just learn something at the wall to take to the rest of your practice.

Drum up Wellness: A Day of Yoga, Music & Mindfulness

Hatha Yoga Class

Start the day with a 90-minute Hatha yoga class ran by Michelle, emphasising movement through alignment and flow, along with a sense of inner-connection and mindfulness, including Pranyama breath exercises. Through this integration of physical movement, mindfulness and awareness of breath you will establish a sense of health, happiness and wellbeing. Open to all levels with options and variations offered.

Drum Up Wellness Workshop

Experience Positive Music’s interactive Drum Up Wellness therapeutic and holistic workshop that explores creativity, mindfulness and practical ways of how music can transform and heal our life through rhythm, harmony and melody. It really looks at rhythm and group music-making in a whole new light.

Drum up Wellness two-hour personal development workshop energises mind, body and spirit, a truly transformational and uplifting group drumming experience that alleviates stress, nurtures authentic connection and builds confidence in a group setting.

Sound Healing & Meditation

Experience a calming, blissful sound healing that is deeply relaxing and rejuvenating for your mind, body and spirit– allowing pure sound vibrations to wash over you. Deeper and deeper you’ll relax and let go as the harmonious healing sounds of Tibetan singing bowls, quartz crystal bowls, gongs gently caress the body and mind. Guided meditation will be from Michelle, to prepare the body and mind for total relaxation be led into our sound healing session with a soothing body scan relaxation guided meditation.

Could everyone please bring a plate to share for lunch. Afternoon tea will be provided.

Partner Yoga is all about fun, sharing and connecting. Come along with someone you feel comfortable with; your significant other, a family member or close friend… whoever you like!!

Join us for this 2-hour workshop where we’ll explore a series of yoga postures done together in pairs allowing both partners to equally support and adjust each other into the postures.

Partner Yoga postures work mainly by adding resistance, your muscles can relax and stretch while your partner’s resistance helps your limbs stay in the posture.

This 2-hour workshop will also end with a partner massage, a nice skill you can take away with you. What are you waiting for, grab your buddy and come and give Partner Yoga a go!!

Suitable for Teenagers over 13.
