Just Be is pleased to offer students a new style of yoga at the studio, Vinyasa Yoga, a dynamic and flowing style based on Ashtanga asana sequences.
Vinyasa Yoga focuses on the alignment of movement and breath, a method whereby the body flows from pose to pose, initiated by an in or out breath. It includes a balanced approach to stimulating and calming the body/mind by including physical poses, breathing practices, bandha's (internal muscular and energetic locks) and internal/external drishti (focal points). Not only does this flowing practice still the mind, it generates internal body heat which cleanses the internal organs and aids the movement of prana (energy) throughout the body.
